Privacy Policy

CoBuy LA is a program of Conscious Communities Real Estate, a licensed California real estate brokerage (DRE License #01917344) based in Pasadena, California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Conscious Communities Real Estate.

What we collect

We only collect what you hand us, plus the minimum our host records to keep the site working.

• Information you submit in a form: your first name, your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give one.
• Context about the submission: which form you used, the page you were on, and the date and time.
• Basic technical information: your browser's user agent string, and a hashed form of your IP address, kept only to rate limit automated submissions. We do not store your raw IP address.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short lived request logs for security and reliability, as any web host does. We do not run advertising trackers or advertising cookies on this site.

Third party content on our pages

Some pages load fonts, map tiles, and photographs from third parties, including Google Fonts, the Leaflet map library, and image hosts. When your browser requests those files, those companies receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies. We do not send them your name, email, or phone number.

How we use it

• To send you the LA Co-Buying Playbook you requested.
• To answer your question and, if you want it, to follow up about co-buying a home in Los Angeles.
• To keep the site secure and to stop automated spam.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run this site or our email on our behalf, and only so they can perform that work.
• Our brokerage team members who are helping with your request.
• Anyone we are legally required to share it with, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

We keep what you submit for as long as we are in contact with you, or until you ask us to delete it. Ask any time and we will delete it.

Your choices and your California rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it, or
• stop contacting you.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, email james@ccrehomes.com and put "privacy request" in the subject line.

Security

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure with access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive financial documents, account numbers, or identification numbers through a website form.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying real estate. It is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
